Job summary

Germain Hotels group in Canada is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to manage arrivals and departures and ensure accurate daily records. You will work autonomously in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment, handling urgent situations with calm professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a hotel or accounting background, with night-audit experience preferred. You will contribute to the hotel's safety, guest service continuity, and seamless handovers to the morning team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including reconciling deposits and producing reports.

We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.
