The Position

Keyera is currently seeking a NGL Logistics Scheduler to join our Calgary-based Commercial Operations team. This position will be responsible for scheduling product movements related to Keyera's NGL fractionation and storage business. The individual will proactively monitor pipeline, rail, fractionation, storage, loading, and offloading activities, as well as spec product movements. They will ensure effective communication of required information to internal and external stakeholders and provide backup support for other functions in the logistics group as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pipeline, rail, and facility nominations actively.
  • Track and analyze shipper nominations to ensure contractual alignment and capacity availability.
  • Monitor storage levels at designated facilities for all third parties.
  • Schedule and manage all third-party rail business and positions.
  • Provide detailed reports on customer activities, including ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Track product transfers within and between facilities, including pipeline, rail, and truck shipments.
  • Distribute storage, truck, and rail lifting reports.
  • Perform month-end reporting and reconciliations.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing facility outages.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to optimize assets.
  • Provide backup support for other logistics functions as required.
  • Participate in weekend on-call rotation.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service-oriented, with the following qualifications :

  • Previous experience in NGL operations is required.
  • Ability to process multiple transactions accurately and promptly.
  • At least 5 years of experience with nominations, third-party storage, inventory management, trucking, and rail scheduling.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage detailed product flows within facility capabilities, contractual obligations, and operational changes.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Economics, or Commerce.
  • Knowledge of marketing and logistics systems (e.g., eONE, GeoMetrix) is an asset.
