Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is launching the Odyssey Program for recent graduates in Canada. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse projects across major engineering domains, helping you grow into a future leader.

As part of the Environment Division, you’ll support air quality studies, site assessments, and environmental reporting, with travel to project sites and a hybrid work setup to balance learning and field work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, graduating 2027.
  • Strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment, remediation, air quality, and acoustics.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis.
  • Assist environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations and reporting.
  • Help in environmental compliance and mitigation planning for various projects.
  • Support hydrology and water resource-related tasks through fieldwork and data analysis.

Your role

While working inthe Environment Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:

  • Acoustics, air quality,vibrationsand climatechange: Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis including assisting with acoustics and noise assessments
  • Assessment and remediation of contaminatedsites: Support environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations, environmental sampling, monitoringprogramsand technical reporting
  • Environmental assessments and communityinvolvement: Contribute to environmental compliance, preparing mitigation plans and assessment for a a variety of projects.
  • Hydrology: Support hydrology and water resource projects through fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
About you
  • Newgraduate with abachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, orrelateddiscipline(graduating in 2027).
  • Strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment and remediation, air quality, and acoustics.
  • Excellent communication,teamworkand problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites asrequired.
  • Currently holds a ValidCanadiandriver’s license

Note: While graduates from a variety of environmental disciplines are encouraged to apply, candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background may be particularly suited for opportunities within our Air Quality and Acoustics team.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $_61,900 - $80,000 annually) Base salaries aredeterminedaccording to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into accountin our offers_
