Job summary

Claridge-Homes is seeking a Warranty Technician to prioritize workloads, manage multiple site repairs, and coordinate with Service Coordinators, Inspectors and trades. Strong customer service is essential as you support homeowners from pre-occupancy through post-occupancy phases.

The role requires hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall and painting, with the ability to travel daily to various build locations. A high school diploma and own vehicle with tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Experience in residential or commercial construction, renovations or repairs.
• Proficiency in carpentry, drywall and painting.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in this role.
• Excellent customer service when dealing with homeowners.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with a positive mindset.
• Willingness to travel daily to multiple build sites.
• Self-directed, reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Own vehicle (paid mileage) and tools (with allowance).

Responsibilities

• Pre-occupancy duties: fix deficiencies, patch drywall, paint, rough carpentry and prep for occupancy inspection.
• Assess and remediate construction deficiencies prior to occupancy.
• Ensure complete cleanup of home inside and outside.
• Post-occupancy duties: address warranted items, review warranty lists with homeowners.
• Explain timelines for repairs and how work is assigned to trades.
• Prepare homes to meet service standards and maintain cleanliness.
• Develop positive relationships with homeowners and provide excellent service.
• Travel daily to assigned sites and coordinate multiple tasks.
