Job summary

Ipsen is seeking an Account Specialist, Neuroscience for Atlantic Canada, covering Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The role focuses on building strong HCP partnerships, driving product adoption, and ensuring safe and effective Ipsen therapies through strategic selling and disciplined territory execution.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate-level university degree.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a pharmaceutical representative.
• Experience in neuroscience is a strong preferred.
• Experience promoting botulinum toxin or competing therapies is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated success in a competitive selling environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to travel within the territory, including overnight, with 10–15% travel outside the territory for conferences and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives for the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute key account plans and annual territory business plans.
• Execute the marketing Plan of Action while identifying and maximizing local territory opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HCP Stakeholders, with a focus on improving patient care.
• Communicate accurate, balanced product information using approved resources.
• Maintain regular HCP engagement through calls, educational programs, and peer-to-peer activities.
• Maintain current product knowledge and complete all required training and administrative responsibilities.
• Manage territory budgets, expenses, samples, and call reporting in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conduct all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, IMC and Ipsen Policies.
