Job summary

About the Role

We are currently looking for a National Sales Manager for our Neuroscience division. Ideally based in the Greater Toronto Area, this position is leading the national neuroscience sales team and the management of strategic key accounts to support business growth, customer engagement, and patient impact.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership and Sales Execution

  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the national neuroscience sales team to achieve sales targets, market share growth, and national business objectives.
  • Set clear performance and business acumen expectations, monitor progress against objectives, and provide regular coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Ensure appropriate field coverage, call planning, execution discipline, and resource allocation across priority geographies, accounts, and customer segments.
  • Plan and conduct sales meetings and business reviews that inform, train, align, and inspire the field organization.
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, retention, and career development of qualified representatives.

Strategic Account Planning and Prioritization

  • Identify, segment, and prioritize strategic accounts and stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, networks, specialists, key opinion leaders, and decision makers that influence adoption, access, and patient care leveraging team adoption of analytical assets and field insights.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor integrated national sales and key account plans aligned to brand strategy, group purchasing organization, market access priorities, customer needs, and patient impact.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with priority accounts by understanding customer needs, identifying shared opportunities, and delivering differentiated brand-value and service solutions.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Business Planning

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, medical, market access, commercial operations, and other internal stakeholders to align account strategies, field priorities, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business plans that connect national sales priorities, customer insights, account opportunities, and brand objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, account progress, customer engagement activity, budgets, and market trends to guide decision‑making and improve return on investment.
  • Participate as a member of strategic cross-functional teams, contributing field and account insights to support brand strategies and tactics.
Qualifications
  • University degree, preferably in science or business.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty care, or healthcare sales and marketing experience, including recent experience in psychiatry or neuroscience.
  • 3+ years of sales management complimented by experience working with group purchasing organizations and successful leadership in marketing roles.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel according to business needs.
  • Hospital, specialty, group purchasing organizations, market access, and institutional account experience is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual capability is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership capability with demonstrated ability to empower, coach, and develop teams in an agile and performance‑oriented environment.
  • Strategic account planning, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capability, critical thinking, strategic planning, and financial discipline.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results‑oriented, customer‑focused, entrepreneurial, highly self‑motivated, and able to translate insights into practical execution.
  • Commitment to ethical business conduct, compliance, teamwork, and role‑modelling company values and behaviours.
