As the successful candidate for the Network Systems Analyst position, you will contribute to the Regional District of Central Okanagan's IT networks, systems, and security across a wide range of technologies. You will collaborate with the Manager of Information Services on systems architecture, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and security protection systems.
To be successful, you need a four-year degree in information technology or a related field, along with five years' experience in a Windows enterprise environment. Experience with SCADA systems is preferred. You should have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, tact and discretion with sensitive information, and excellent communication skills. You must be able to meet and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance and hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license.
This is a CUPE 338 position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with an on-call rotation. The pay rate is $51.74 per hour, with some weekend flexibility required to meet operational needs.
