Position Overview:

This role is part of the Finance Data and Systems Team within the Finance Department. The Sr. Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for leading process and technology improvement initiatives, focusing on continuous process improvement, and working closely with Finance and IT teams to execute finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into best practice processes aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in finance project teams, analyzing, designing, and implementing finance process solutions that enhance standardization, efficiency, and compliance.
2. Drive stakeholder alignment and document solutions comprehensively.
3. Conduct process walkthroughs, support change management, and promote adoption of solutions.
4. Advocate for global process standardization and best practices, assessing impacts of deviations.
5. Analyze and document end-to-end finance processes, benchmarking against industry standards.
6. Perform change impact assessments, track readiness, and manage risks.
7. Develop training materials, identify needs, and deliver training sessions.
8. Document requirements and processes, including current and future states.
9. Manage testing processes, including script preparation and data input.
10. Create detailed documentation of finance information systems and process maps.
11. Lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with process owners.
12. Manage project controls, prioritization, and transformation activities.
13. Analyze data/metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
14. Lead all project lifecycle phases and ensure internal controls are aligned with strategic goals.
15. Utilize and optimize ERP systems with proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience as a business analyst with finance knowledge.
• Experience in finance transformation projects and engaging with senior management.
• Expertise in process design, documentation, and process mapping.
• Advanced skills in Excel, data analysis, and BI tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies and Agile practices.
• Understanding of ERP systems and optimization practices.

Preferred Attributes:

• Training in Workday Finance / HCM ERP, Adaptive Insights, Zuora, change management.
• Finance consulting experience and knowledge of process areas like Contract to Cash, Record to Report, etc.
• Global finance transformation project experience.
• Relevant certifications (CPA, CISA, CMA, Workday Certifications).
