Job summary

Enbridge seeks a Network and Perimeter Security IT Specialist I - Load Balancing to lead enterprise-level security across load balancing, internet-facing environments, firewalls, Azure Front Door, IPS, WAF, PKI, and more. You will help design secure, scalable network platforms and work with cross-functional teams to ensure resilience.

The role emphasizes risk management, audit readiness, and collaboration with security, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in network security architecture and enterprise infrastructure.
• Expertise with load balancing technologies (Citrix Netscaler, F5 BIG-IP) and Azure Front Door.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IPS, WAF, PKI, DNS, encryption, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise network security architecture and control frameworks.
• Lead security design for large-scale cloud transformations and critical infrastructure.
• Advise on network security risk, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Drive lifecycle, vulnerability, and resiliency improvements across platforms.
• Influence roadmaps, budgets, and long-term security posture.
• Support HA designs with failover and recovery capabilities.
• Manage load balancer and network security infrastructure upgrades and patching.

Education

Bachelor's degree or two-year technical diploma with 6+ years in network security and enterprise infrastructure
