Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Network Engineer II to help design, operate, and secure our global network, spanning LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity. You will troubleshoot complex issues, implement changes, and collaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and application teams to improve resiliency and performance.

You will work in a hybrid environment (remote and office-based), contribute to incident response, documentation, and automation initiatives, and support advanced security technologies

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, switching, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare technologies and services, including Cloudflare Zero Trust, WAF, DNS, Access, Gateway.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, Internet, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity solutions.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of network performance, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, VPN, DNS, and application connectivity issues, driving incidents through resolution.
  • Plan, execute, validate, and document network changes per change management processes.
  • Support firewall platforms and policy changes across Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, application teams, and external vendors on projects.
