Job summary

Nature Fresh Farms seeks a Network Security Engineer to join the Information Technology Department in Leamington. You will design and secure network architectures across on‑prem, cloud, and OT environments, ensuring robust access control and risk‑based measures.

You will conduct security assessments, implement hardening, and monitor incidents. The role requires 7+ years in network security, Fortinet proficiency, and scripting capabilities, with travel within Canada/US as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands‑on experience in network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, VPN) with cybersecurity specialization.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, VPN, and SD‑WAN plus security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with enterprise security tools including Fortinet, IAM, and vulnerability monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across on‑premises, cloud, and OT environments.
• Conduct hands‑on security assessments: vulnerability scanning, config reviews, and hardening.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation with teams.
