Job summary

My Technician in Quebec is seeking a Network Administrator within our Projects department to design, deploy, and evolve cutting-edge network solutions for multiple clients.

The role requires 5+ years in network administration or security engineering, strong Fortinet expertise, NSE4+, and proven ability to document deployments clearly. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients, and be available for major incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network administration or security engineering
• Hands-on experience in an MSP or multi-client IT services environment
• Fortinet expertise including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager

Responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable network architectures based on Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager)
• Deploy and configure Fortinet solutions in complex, multi-site client environments
• Participate in implementation, migration, and continuous improvement projects
• Provide expertise during RFPs, client assessments, and critical diagnostic phases
• Document and deliver: produce technical documentation, formalize deployments, and ensure knowledge transfer to support teams
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to plan and implement tailored technological solutions

As a Network Administrator within our Projects department, you will play a central role in the design, deployment, and evolution of cutting-edge network solutions. Your expertise will guide technology decisions and support the success of our clients’ strategic initiatives.

• Design secure and scalable network architectures based on Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager).
• Deploy and configure Fortinet solutions in complex, multi-site client environments.
• Actively participate in implementation, migration, and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide expertise during RFPs, client assessments, and critical diagnostic phases.
• Document and deliver: produce technical documentation, formalize deployments, and ensure knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to plan and implement tailored technological solutions.

Profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or security engineering. Hands-on experience in an MSP or multi-client IT services environment. Strong Fortinet expertise (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager). NSE 4 certification or higher (major asset). Solid networking knowledge (routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, network segmentation). Experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing network security solutions. Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices. Excellent technical documentation skills and ability to produce clear deliverables. Clear, precise, and collaborative communication with both team members and clients. Analytical and proactive mindset to anticipate and quickly resolve issues. Client-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Availability: Ability to intervene outside regular business hours during critical projects or major incidents. Mobility: Valid driver’s license for professional travel to client sites as needed.
