Job summary

Echo NDE in Red Deer, AB is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee planning, scheduling, and dispatch of technical staff and resources to meet customer service requests. Reporting to the Division Manager, you will coordinate daily operations, ensure effective utilization of resources, and maintain accurate documentation for service requests, invoicing, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, operations, administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industry-related experience in NDT, inspection, industrial services, or similar.
• Knowledge of resource deployment and scheduling for technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to customer service requests and ensure work orders reflect customer requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and dispatch technical staff and resources to meet customer needs.
• Balance workload and priorities to optimize utilization of staff and equipment.
• Ensure staff have the required skills, certifications, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate travel and accommodations for technical staff as required.
• Provide staff with clear information on work assignments and customer requirements.
• Track service requests and review time records for accuracy.
• Review invoices and payroll/documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Build relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up.
• Identify upcoming needs and opportunities to support service planning.
