Job summary

RBC Wealth Management Canada is seeking a Manager, National Credit to lead a high‑performing team supporting time‑sensitive credit operations. You will hire, onboard, and coach staff while driving performance and ensuring adherence to policies and controls.

The role combines risk management with operational excellence in a fast-paced environment, including collaboration with regulators, auditors, and internal partners to maintain strong control standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent, or high school diploma with demonstrated experience.
• 5+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job-specific industry experience.
• Canadian Securities license (recommended).
• 2+ years managerial experience leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Managerial Excellence - establish goals, drive performance management, support career development and reward strong performance.
• Department Support - oversee complex processes to ensure adherence to procedures, mitigate risks, meet regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement - reduce risk, increase efficiency, or enrich customer service through changes or system mods.
• Training & Documentation - develop and provide ongoing training, maintain department procedures.
