Your future role

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand clients’ needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Track key metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a unified approach to account management.
  • Provide training and support to clients on new products or services.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a national account manager specializing in consumer-packaged goods.
  • Successful track record with retail banners such as Home Depot, Rona, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, Loblaws, Metro and Sobeys.
  • Master of category management principles.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
