A manufacturing company in Mississauga is seeking a National Account Manager to manage key customer relationships and develop business strategies. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably with national retail customers. This full-time role offers a salary range of CA$150,000 - CA$200,000 and requires strong communication and analytical skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The National Account Manager is the primary point of contact for the assigned key customers and is responsible for maintaining and growing the business relationship by providing a high level of professionalism and exceptional levels of service to ensure client satisfaction. The NAM will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the account specific business plan; achieving account profitability and sales targets; providing account leadership. This individual will also be responsible for identifying and converting on opportunities to further grow our portfolio of brands and products within the assigned account(s).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, professional journals, technical procedures, and / or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, colleagues and customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
