Day to day operation, maintenance, and development of the NANO*3800 (CHEM-NANO) lab. May also provide training with respect to safe operation of the lab, the use of equipment and any special operating procedures pertinent to the equipment. May include exam invigilation. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Masters in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• Teaching and research experience in both chemistry and physics on the Nanoscale.
• knowledge of LabVIEW and Python or other script languages.
• Experience with equipment maintained by B.Sc. Nanoscience program.
• Strong communication, networking and leadership skills to effectively present technical concepts to academic and professional audience, peers and students.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and creativity to assess any issue / need and arrive at effective solutions to solve complex analytical problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc in Nanoscience.
• 1 year experience in a NANO lab.
