Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a dynamic Named Account Manager for the Public Sector to drive new business and expand existing government and public sector accounts. You will play a pivotal role in negotiating terms and delivering enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions while maintaining a focus on customer success and long-term relationships.

You will onboard new clients, develop market strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling bids and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years sales experience in Public Sector.
• Experience designing business plans and market strategies to grow sales.
• Proven ability to sell solutions and achieve quotas.
• Track record of quota achievement and career stability.
• Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent thinker with a hunter mindset.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience in network security technologies (VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, IPS, Content Filtering).

Responsibilities

• Lead new business pitches and foster long-term relationships with public sector clients.
• On-board new clients and grow existing accounts.
• Generate a strong sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, provide forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams on bids, RFI/RFPs, and Statements of Work.

• Play an integral role in new business pitches, foster long-term relationships, act as a catalyst in negotiating business terms to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and deliver meaningful results for all parties involved.

• Effectively on-board new clients and proactively focus on growing and developing existing accounts.

• Generate a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work that reflect our commitment to excellence.

• Travel throughout the territory to support the needs of the business.
