Mount Washington Alpine Resort in Comox Valley seeks a Raven Café Lead Hand to orchestrate a small, energetic team from espresso shots to après-ski service. You’ll train staff, supervise cafe operations, and ensure guests enjoy warm hospitality with smooth workflow and accurate tills.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Serving It Right certification required.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.

• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Willingness to assist in other resort departments when needed.

You’ll help manage and support a small but mighty crew, making sure guests are greeted with warm smiles, delicious drinks, and top-notch service. Your day will include everything from taking orders and crafting specialty coffees to balancing tills, managing tip-outs, restocking supplies, and coordinating schedules to meet daily goals. You’ll lead by example, staying organized, efficient, and upbeat—even when the snow is falling fast and the café is buzzing. You’ll also help train new team members, share your knowledge of the resort, and ensure everyone is following our policies and procedures.
