Job summary

Fidelity Clearing Canada is seeking a Mutual Funds Administrator to support settlements, reconciliations, and the processing of mutual fund transactions. The role involves handling Rejected trades, SWPs, PACs, and daily settlement activities within a hybrid work model at our Toronto office.

You will interact with internal teams and fund companies to ensure accurate processing and timely resolution of discrepancies, while adhering to policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in financial services, mutual funds or related field.
• Post-secondary education in Finance or Business preferred; college diploma acceptable.
• Industry courses (CSC/IFIC) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI/SharePoint a plus; familiarity with Dataphile and FundSERV beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, resolve, and reprocess rejected mutual fund transactions with internal and fund company stakeholders.
• Execute internal transfers per client instructions and settlement timelines.
• Set up systematic withdrawal plans and PAC arrangements.
• Perform daily settlement and reconcile cash balances; resolve discrepancies.
• Complete monthly reconciliations and client holdings reporting; investigate variances.
• Assist in posting of complex trades and ensure regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Maintain accurate client account information and support fee/commission processing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operations and respond to inquiries.
