Job summary

Highline Mushrooms in Leamington, ON is seeking a Harvester to pick mushrooms, assess quality, and support disease control. You will work onsite at our facility, handle mushrooms with care, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

This role offers 30–60 hours per week, with a wage of CAD 17.60 per hour or piece rate, and benefits including extended health and pension matching. 15 vacancies at two locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.
• Previous harvesting experience is considered an asset
• NO LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

• Pick mushrooms and place into trays or boxes.
• Meet requirements for size, weight, cleanliness, stem length and overall condition.
• Working at heights on a trolley, or bending to floor level to pick mushrooms
• Use of clean, sharp harvesting or paring knife to cut mushrooms
• Adheres to GMP’s as trained
• Ensures mushrooms are harvested within customer specifications and in a manner that reduces knock-overs
