Job summary

Renu Contracting & Restoration is seeking a Farm Worker to perform on-site harvest, packing and crop maintenance at the physical location in Ontario. The role includes hand harvesting, grading, and basic machinery operation in a fast-paced farm setting.

Experience ranges from 7 months to under 1 year; no degree required. Applicants must be able to work outdoors, lift up to 23 kg, and adapt to varying weather and deadlines.

Qualifications

• No formal education required for the role.
• Experience in farming or harvesting is an asset.
• Ability to work at height and outdoors in a farm setting.

Responsibilities

• Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• Greenhouse cleaning.
• Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Pack fruits and vegetables.
• Hand harvesting vegetables.
• Examine product for quality and readiness for market.
• Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape, color and volume.
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops.
• Sort fruits and vegetables.
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry.
