Job summary

Highline Mushrooms is seeking personnel for the packaging line responsible for grading, labeling and packaging for incoming and outgoing product, order preparation and shipping. You will rotate through line positions and ensure compliance with all procedures.

Hours are approximately 40–50 per week (4–5 days), with daily shift end times varying. The position offers hourly pay of CAD 18.97 and benefits including extended health, vision and dental, life insurance, and a shoe allowance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.

Position Summary:

General Duties:

• Weighs, sorts, wraps, and packs mushrooms.
• Rotates through various positions on the line.
• Load, stack, prep and clean the line as required.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned as required.
• Assist Lead Hand Emulate Lead Hand.
• Set standard for level 1 GPA.
• Verify’ s quality assurance paperwork.
• Verify’ s BOL.
• Provides support to Line Operators.
• Embrace and support the Highline culture and values, acting as brand ambassador at all times.
• Interact with others in a manner that promotes respect, confidentiality and dignity.
• Develop and actively foster an engaged work force, displaying professionalism at all times.
• Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Reports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately.
• Cooperates in the Early and Safe Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodation.
• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as trained.
• Adheres to all quality standards per customer specifications.

Hours of Work:

• 4 to 5 days / week
• Approximately 40 to 50 hours / week; 8 to 12 hours / day
• Public Holidays / Weekends as scheduled
• Daily shift end times vary based on production needs

Earnings:
