The City of Dryden is hiring Casual Museum Staff to support museum operations on a fluctuating schedule. Responsibilities include opening and closing the museum, providing customer service, and participating in projects related to collections care and research requests. Applicants need a high school diploma and should have prior experience in customer service and cash handling.
Location: Museum Reports to: Museum & Heritage Coordinator
Casual – Required on a casual basis as staffing requirements dictate.
Hourly Wage: $21.59/hour with benefits as per the Employment Standards Act.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Museum & Heritage Coordinator, the successful applicant will be responsible for opening and closing the Museum, conducting admission and services sales, providing visitor support, and assisting with special projects (ex. Collections care, content editing, research requests).
