Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support housekeeping and food service in a healthcare setting. You will maintain the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas, assist with meal service, and ensure safety and hygiene standards are followed.

The role requires a valid Food Handler Certificate, good English communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with rotating shifts from 7am–3pm or 11am–7pm.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.

Salary $20.68
Schedule: Monday to Sunday Rotational: 7am - 3pm / 11am - 7pm

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:
