Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multiskilled Worker to support daily operations in healthcare settings. You will assist with cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing, ensuring meals are delivered safely and on time.

You should have a valid Food Handler Certificate; prior housekeeping and food services experience is an asset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while following health and safety guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping to maintain residents' rooms and common areas.

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long‑term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
