Job summary

Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is hiring a Multi Skilled Worker to support residents in a memory and health care setting, covering housekeeping, laundry and food service. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of rooms and common areas, assisting with meal service, and operating in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 6am to 6:30pm, seven days a week, with required flexibility for holidays. Candidates should have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent, be able to

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup and serving meals, delivering trays, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow health & safety guidelines, report injuries or hazards to supervisor and respond to reasonable requests from management.

Job description

Covering areas of Housekeeping, Laundry and Food Service to residents with memory and Health issues. We operate 7 days a week with hours between 6am-6:30 pm. Must be able to multi task, lift up to 20lbs, stand for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation and be available for shift work when scheduled, including holidays.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
