Job summary

Commissary Kitchen is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in Surrey, BC. The role includes cleaning, food preparation, meal service and dishwashing in a care setting. You will help maintain clean rooms and common areas while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a valid Food Handler Certificate, ability to work independently or in a team, and strong English communication. Previous healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
