Job summary

Compass-Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. The role involves maintaining residents' rooms and kitchen cleanliness, with responsibilities spanning setup, service, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a Food Handler Certificate or equivalent asset, experience in housekeeping or food services, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Follow health & safety guidelines; report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is an asset
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
