Job summary

Norelco Cabinets LTD in British Columbia is seeking an Intermediate Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for our manufacturing operations and related entities. You will handle full-cycle bookkeeping, manage ledgers, and ensure accurate postings in a multi-entity environment.

The role requires strong QuickBooks proficiency, thorough knowledge of Canadian payroll, GST/PST, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of bookkeeping or intermediate accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Working knowledge of Canadian payroll, GST and PST requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing or job costing is an asset.
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple related entities.
• Maintain general ledgers, charts of accounts, and supporting documentation.
• Record daily financial transactions and post journal entries.
• Complete monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
• Process vendor invoices, expense claims, and payments; issue customer invoices and statements.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting entries; prepare statutory deductions.
