Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Canada invites applications for an MRI Technologist on the Midnight line. You will perform MRI examinations, coordinate with anesthesia and pacemaker teams, and support pediatric and special needs access to MRI services.

The role requires an accredited MRI program, CMRI registration, and BCLS, with relocation support possible. This full-time night shift offers strong teamwork and patient-centered care.

Formación

  • Completion of an accredited MRI program.
  • Registered with CMRITO in good standing.
  • Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with protocols.
  • Maintain strong team environment amongst MRI staff and Imaging Nursing.
  • Perform a large variety of MRI specialty procedures including cardiac imaging and breast biopsies.
  • Collaborate with Pacemaker Clinic to MRI-examine patients with MRI conditional pacemakers.
  • Coordinate with Anesthesia to provide MRI access to young children and special needs patients.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain strong team environment amongst MRI technologist, MRI Technologist Assistants and Imaging Nursing Team.
  • Perform a large variety of MRI specialty procedures including cardiac imaging and breast biopsies.
  • Collaborate with the Pacemaker Clinic to perform MRI exams on patients with MRI conditional pacemakers.
  • Coordinate with the Anesthesia team to provide MRI access to young children and patients with special needs.
  • Perform MRI studies to assist radiation therapy planning.

Please note that this position is a midnight line; however, shift schedules may be subject to change to support operational requirements and departmental needs.
