Job summary

Sogeclair is looking for an MRB Liaison Engineer - Systems in Toronto, Canada. You will support aircraft production by resolving non-conformances and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

You will work closely with different engineering teams to resolve technical issues and maintain accurate documentation. The role includes several benefits, such as RRSP opportunities and continued training.

Description

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

The MRB Liaison Engineer - Systems supports aircraft production by resolving system-related non-conformances and providing engineering dispositions that ensure continued compliance with safety, quality, and certification requirements. This position interfaces with production personnel and multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate timely issue resolution.

  • Provide technical support for aircraft system installation and production-related non-conformances.
  • Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and develop engineering dispositions for mechanical and system installation issues.
  • Conduct on-aircraft investigations to collect information and assess discrepancies affecting system integration.
  • Analyze deviations related to system routing, installation, interfaces, and associated hardware.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with engineering standards, certification requirements, and safety objectives.
  • Work closely with structures, stress, design, materials and processes, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and MRB records.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
  • Apply AS9100 quality standards and internal engineering procedures in daily activities.
Requirements

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, MRB engineering, or aircraft systems installation support.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems installation requirements and production engineering practices.
  • Experience developing engineering dispositions for non-conformances in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with MRB software and engineering change documentation.
