Job summary

SOGECLAIR is seeking an MRB Liaison Engineer – Systems to support aircraft production by resolving system-related non-conformances and providing dispositions that ensure safety, quality, and certification compliance.

You will interface with production and multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate timely issue resolution, review NCRs, analyze deviations, and maintain MRB records across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for aircraft system installation and production-related non-conformances.
  • Review NCRs and develop dispositions for mechanical and system installation issues.
  • Conduct on-aircraft investigations to collect information and assess discrepancies affecting system integration.
  • Analyze deviations related to system routing, installation, interfaces, and hardware.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with engineering standards, certification requirements, and safety objectives.
  • Collaborate with structures, stress, design, materials and processes, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and MRB records.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
  • Apply AS9100 quality standards and internal engineering procedures.

Job description

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

The MRB Liaison Engineer – Systems supports aircraft production by resolving system-related non-conformances and providing engineering dispositions that ensure continued compliance with safety, quality, and certification requirements. This position interfaces with production personnel and multiple engineering disciplines to facilitate timely issue resolution.

  • Provide technical support for aircraft system installation and production-related non-conformances.
  • Review Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and develop engineering dispositions for mechanical and system installation issues.
  • Conduct on-aircraft investigations to collect information and assess discrepancies affecting system integration.
  • Analyze deviations related to system routing, installation, interfaces, and associated hardware.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with engineering standards, certification requirements, and safety objectives.
  • Work closely with structures, stress, design, materials and processes, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and MRB records.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce recurring issues.
  • Apply AS9100 quality standards and internal engineering procedures in daily activities.

Please note that we have positions available on day, evening, and weekend shifts.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, MRB engineering, or aircraft systems installation support.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems installation requirements and production engineering practices.
  • Experience developing engineering dispositions for non-conformances in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with MRB software and engineering change documentation.

  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems integration and installation practices.
