SOGECLAIR Montreal seeks an experienced Senior RM&S Engineer to lead safety analyses and certification deliverables for complex aerospace systems. You will drive FMEAs/FTAs, reliability considerations, and ensure ARP 4761/4754 compliance across programs.

The role requires seven+ years in RM&S with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a multicultural environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 7+ years in RM&S.
• Strong aerospace background and understanding of aircraft performance, systems, interfaces, reliability and certification.
• Experience in FMEAs, FTAs, and Safety Analysis.
• Familiar with ARP 4761/ARP 4754 and certification processes.
• Able to communicate technical proposals to management; team player; works under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; familiar with Microsoft 365.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare Aircraft/ System Safety Analysis and/or Particular Risk Assessments and demonstrate compliance with ARP 525.1309, FAR/CS 25.1309 and related requirements.
• Own Reliability, Maintainability & Safety deliverables for assigned systems.
• Identify, follow up, and resolve system safety issues within Continuing Airworthiness.
• Participate in hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, safety assessment, FMEA and final RM&S certification reports.
• Coordinate certification activities across SOGECLAIR, partners, regulators and customers.
• Promote ethics, integrity and a culture of inclusivity.

TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

• Prepare the Aircraft / System Safety Analysis and/or Particular Risk Assessments compliance reports and demonstrating compliance with AWM 525.1309, FAR/CS part 25.1309 and other relevant requirements.
• Be responsible for Reliability, Maintainability & Safety deliverables specific to assigned systems.
• Identify, follow up, and resolve all system safety issues and particular risks issues in support of the Continuing Airworthiness Process
• Participate in aircraft / system functional hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the final R,M&S certification reports.
• The duties will also require certification activities involving co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all SOGECLAIR, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.
• Employ ethical practices and policies, drive positive change and promote a culture of integrity, respect and inclusivity.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical engineering with at least seven (7) years relevant experience in the field of R,M&S.
• You have a strong aerospace background, and an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of aircraft systems.
• You preferably have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
• Knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEAs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTAs) and Safety Analysis is required.
• You must be cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations such as ARP 4761, ARP 4754 and the certification process.
• You have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
• You possess a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• You possess strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• You are familiar with a Microsoft 365 environment
