Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate, build, and manage relationships within a referral network to generate new mortgage business and increase BMO’s market share.
  2. Identify sales opportunities and refer clients to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
  3. Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies.
  4. Proactively contact referral sources and develop local partnerships to promote home financing solutions.
  5. Support targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  6. Seek cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to meet sales and profitability targets.
  7. Expand network through referrals from existing relationships.
  8. Participate in community events to enhance BMO’s presence.
  9. Guide customers through mortgage applications and processes, ensuring excellent service and support.
  10. Partner with branch teams for customer hand-offs and documentation.
  11. Resolve issues promptly, escalating complex matters as needed.
  12. Provide advice on banking products and refer clients to appropriate services.
  13. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  14. Maintain accurate documentation and update internal systems.
  15. Analyze data to generate insights and reports.
  16. Support operational and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and real estate markets.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Compensation:
