Job summary

RiverRock Mortgage Investment Corporation in downtown Toronto is seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join our team. This full-time, in-office role offers a chance to support our mortgage portfolio and client-facing processes.

You will manage statements, payments, and documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, work with underwriters and brokers, and help keep our paperless systems organized and efficient.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Mortgage Administrator experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Prepare and issue mortgage statements, including Information, Payout, and Year-End Statements.
  • Process daily mortgage payments and payout funds accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with the validation of transactions posted, and scheduled to be posted, at the account level.
  • Support Underwriters with payments to brokers and business associates.
  • Maintain and organize loan folders and documentation within our paperless environment.
  • Provide professional support for management of our general phone line for all incoming calls.
  • Manage office supplies, including inventory monitoring and ordering.
  • Perform other administrative duties and responsibilities as required.

Job description

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone who brings positive energy, professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented approach, along with:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Mortgage Administrator experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications
  • The ability to quickly adapt to document, funding, and mortgage portfolio platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to communicate professionally in a timely manner with clients, lawyers, brokers, and other business partners
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding, and collaborative environment
  • A willingness to take on additional responsibilities and duties as required.
