Job summary

Flourish Montessori Learning Academy in Alberta seeks a Program Supervisor to ensure safe, compliant operation for children aged 2–5. You will lead the program, mentor staff, and oversee regulatory adherence while fostering a nurturing learning environment.

You will support onboarding, documentation, and family communication, striving for program excellence and quality care in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Montessori program implementation and quality delivery.
• Mentor educators and classroom staff to support program excellence.
• Ensure environments support child development and learning outcomes.
• Promote best practices in early childhood education.
• Assist onboarding and mentoring of new educators.
• Support team development and a positive workplace culture.
• Provide feedback and coaching to educators.
• Act as primary contact for families, handling inquiries and updates.
• Support onboarding of new families including registrations and subsidies.
• Maintain enrollment files, attendance logs, certifications, and health docs.
• Oversee billing, tuition tracking, and provincial funding administration.
• Ensure compliance with Early Learning and Child Care Act and licensing.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, coverage, and substitutes.
• Order supplies and organize food in line with health standards.
• Support professional development records and training renewals.
• Assist with monthly fire drills and emergency preparedness.
• Provide classroom coverage during educator breaks and transitions.
• Assist daily operations and communicate program needs to leadership.
