Affinity Group is seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Consultant to lead migration and modernization efforts across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online. You will assess current automation, design migration strategies, and rebuild workflows in a new tenant while ensuring governance and security alignment.
You will engage with business stakeholders to prioritize remediation, develop runbooks, and provide hands‑on support during cutover events.
Formación
- 7+ years delivering Microsoft Modern Workplace and Microsoft 365 consulting engagements.
- 5+ years hands‑on Power Automate development and administration in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience migrating Power Platform solutions between tenants.
- Strong expertise with SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, metadata, and governance.
- Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex automated workflows.
- Understanding of connectors, authentication models, service principals, and API integrations.
Responsabilidades
- Assess and document existing workflow automations, dependencies, integrations, and supporting business processes.
- Analyze current-state Power Platform architecture and develop migration recommendations.
- Rebuild, migrate, and optimize Power Automate workflows within a new Microsoft 365 tenant environment.
- Configure and validate workflow connections, authentication methods, and platform dependencies.
- Ensure document management processes are transitioned with minimal disruption.
- Support migration of automated client record, folder creation, and document filing processes.
- Validate integrations between Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, and third‑party apps.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, connector issues, permissions challenges, and service integration problems.
- Develop migration runbooks, technical documentation, and operational materials.
- Create and execute testing strategies including unit, integration, and UAT testing.
- Participate in cutover planning and migration activities.
- Provide hands‑on support during migration events and stabilization periods.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and remediation priorities.
- Communicate risks and recommendations to technical and business audiences.
- Ensure solutions align with governance and security best practices.

This consultant will play a key role in assessing, redesigning, and migrating business-critical automation workflows between Microsoft 365 tenants while ensuring seamless integration with document management and business application ecosystems. - Proven experience migrating Power Platform solutions between Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Strong expertise with SharePoint Online architecture, document libraries, permissions, metadata, and governance.
- Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex automated workflows.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform connectors, authentication models, service principals, and API integrations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise document management and workflow automation platforms.
- Experience conducting assessments, documenting technical environments, and producing migration strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and integrated systems.
- Experience executing cutover planning, migration activities, and post‑migration stabilization support.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, governance, and tenant administration principles.
- Ability to work independently in high‑pressure environments with shifting priorities and strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Previous consulting experience within financial services, wealth management, or highly regulated industries is considered an asset.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with third‑party SaaS platforms is strongly preferred.
- Senior Power Platform Experience
- 5+ years of hands‑on Power Automate development, administration, and troubleshooting within enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
- Microsoft 365 Tenant Migration Expertise
- Proven experience migrating Power Platform solutions, workflows, connectors, and automation dependencies between Microsoft 365 tenants.
- SharePoint Online & Document Management
- 5+ years of experience designing, supporting, and optimizing SharePoint Online document management solutions and automated document processes.
- Integration & Connector Troubleshooting
- Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Power Platform connectors, authentication methods, APIs, and third‑party application integrations.
- Enterprise Consulting & Stakeholder Management
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discovery, migration planning, testing, cutover activities, and stakeholder communications in high‑pressure consulting engagements.
