National Seating & Mobility is seeking a Mobility Equipment Technician to join a hands-on, service-focused team in Canada. You will travel within the community to install, service, and repair mobility devices, ensuring safe operation and caregiver education.

Responsibilities

• Delivering, installing, servicing, and repairing mobility equipment in client homes and healthcare facilities.
• Assembling, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining mobility products.
• Educating clients and caregivers on safe operation and care of equipment.
• Installing wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, grab bars, ramps, ceiling lifts, stairlifts.
• Completing wheelchair setup records and required documentation.
• Maintaining rental equipment and supporting warehouse operations.
• Collaborating with therapists and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
• Providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with clients and families.
• Assisting with inventory management and branch responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Do

As a Mobility Equipment Technician, you will combine mechanical know-how with exceptional customer service as you travel throughout your community helping clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering, installing, servicing, and repairing mobility and accessibility equipment in client homes and healthcare facilities.
• Assembling, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of mobility products.
• Educating clients and caregivers on the safe operation and care of their equipment.
• Installing products such as wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, grab bars, ramps, ceiling lifts, and stairlifts.
• Completing required documentation, including wheelchair setup records.
• Maintaining rental equipment and supporting warehouse operations.
• Working collaboratively with therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Providing outstanding customer service while building positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Assisting with inventory management and other branch responsibilities as needed.

• A valid driver’s license.
• The ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Experience working with mobility or medical equipment is considered an asset, but we will provide the training you need to succeed.
