Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Addictions or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, suicide risk management required.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred; experience with youth in addiction/mental health settings advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intakes, detailed assessments and attendance letters.
  • Create treatment plans and provide individual and family counselling.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational, support, experiential and process groups; coordinate with families and professionals.
