Job summary

Prairie Mountain Health seeks a Rehabilitation Counsellor to provide counselling, education, and support to individuals and families dealing with alcohol, drugs and gambling. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design client-centered plans and ensure confidentiality.

Responsibilities include crisis response, documentation, and collaboration with community partners to meet client needs; prior MI training is required, with English fluency and independent work ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma with supervised counselling experience.
• Training in Motivational Interviewing techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office and IT.
• Experience in planning, presenting educational material.
• Fluent in English; French or Ojibway/Cree is an asset.
• Strong organization and ability to work independently.
