Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician to support client locations in Moose Jaw, SK. This hands-on role keeps facilities safe, functional and customer-ready by maintaining and repairing building systems.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and handle on-demand repairs for mechanical, electrical, and general building systems across multiple sites, with autonomy and a clear process framework.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements (lift 50 lbs+).
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, markups).

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing general maintenance on facility infrastructures.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review work orders and estimate time and materials; manage completion.
  • Support energy management to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Inspect installations for code compliance and safety regulations.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Follow defined procedures and processes under supervision.
  • Deliver output by following established procedures.

About The Role

CBRE is looking for a proactive and skilled Mobile Technician to support our client locations in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to expert for keeping client locations safe, functional, and customer-ready by maintaining and repairing building systems, equipment, and facilities.

As part of CBRE's Engineering & Technical Services team, you’ll work across multiple sites, handling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-demand repairs for mechanical, electrical, and general building systems. What You’ll Do
  • Perform ongoing general maintenance on facility infrastructures.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
