GardaWorld in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a Mobile Security Guard for overnight coverage. The position is full-time temporary through October 18, 2026, with an overnight shift from Monday to Thursday, 22:00–08:00, at a pay rate of $20.00/hour.

The role emphasizes readiness, situational awareness, and independent work to protect properties through patrols, lock/unlock duties, and proactive deterrence of trespassing.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record (required).
• First aid certification is required.
• Ability to stand and walk during the entire shift.
• Previous mobile patrol experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated properties and areas.
• Maintain a visible, professional security presence to deter issues.
• Lock and unlock gates, doors, and access points per schedule.
• Report and document any suspicious activity or incidents.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
