FCU Community Financial is seeking a Mobile Mortgage Advisor to expand lending services across our communities. This role emphasizes building relationships, providing personalized mortgage guidance, and driving growth outside traditional branches.

The ideal candidate will travel to local events and branches within our service area and leverage a robust referral network. Competitive base salary with commissions is offered, plus a guaranteed phase during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial services, with preference for credit unions.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and nurtures strong relationships with members to understand lending needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Proactively identifies, pursues, and secures new lending opportunities through strategic business development, networking, community engagement, and referrals.
• Conducts comprehensive assessments of loan applications, ensuring accurate collection and evaluation of documentation.
• Offers expert guidance on lending products and services, tailored to meet individual member requirements.
• Collaborates with branch teams and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing and delivery of lending solutions.
• Strives to meet and exceed targets related to loan volume, profitability, and member satisfaction.
• Keeps up with industry trends, regulations, and policies pertaining to lending practices.
• Delivers exceptional service to members throughout the lending process.
• Uses mobile technology to serve members remotely and enhance efficiency.
• Engages in community outreach to raise awareness and grow the member base.
• Performs needs analysis, delivers tailored proposals, negotiates terms, and implements lending solutions.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance member relationships and directs them to the appropriate FCU team.
• Processes loan-related documentation including applications, approvals, and disbursements.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
