As a CBRE Building Operator (Union), you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, building systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Maintain a clean work environmentAssist other classifications/trades as requiredPerform general building maintenance/repairs (e.g., lighting, door repairs. etc.)Pump teardown/minor repairs/alignmentAir balancingConduct generator testsEscalate unusual events/occurrences to supervisorWork in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and other applicable codesConduct chemical treatment testsComplete maintenance of metal/plastic pipe systemsParticipate in review of operating policies/procedures as requiredMonitor work of contractors/external service providers to ensure adherence to company/industry standardsTroubleshoot/repair building automation systemComplete general mechanical/maintenance dutiesMaintain/align fan/air handling units Complete belt inspection/replacementPerform minor repairs: replace washers/faucets; clear sinks, toilets and drains; clear grease traps/sumps; re-pack valves; replace pumps/motors; reset breakers, etc. Complete filter changesEnsuring maximum energy efficiency, inspect/operate/maintain and repair mechanical/electrical systems and equipment (including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, pumps, generators, life safety system, etc.)Start-up/shutdown major building equipmentComplete preventive/demand maintenance tasks; input histories if requiredReview and complete daily entries into engineer's logPerform daily rounds and log readingsRespond to tenant requests and emergencies

The salary being offered for this Union Building Operator role is up to $30.80 per hour. The compensation provided to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
