Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Field & Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN) in Owen Sound, Hanover, or surrounding areas. The role involves administering medications, monitoring IV therapies, and educating patients within clinic or homecare settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required.
Professional license or registration in nursing in the applicable jurisdiction required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RPN/LPN.
Experience with IV therapy is an asset.
ACLS/PALS/MS CVAA and CVAD experience are assets.

Responsibilities

Administer medications (IM, SC and IV) in home or specialty clinic settings.
Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in clinic/homecare.
Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and document per protocol.
Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups.
Report adverse events and product complaints following procedures.
Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians and teams to schedule care.
Travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary.
