Job summary

OMS / Royal Drugs in Ajax is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver safe, high-quality infusion therapy across multiple clinics. Travel to satellite locations is required; this casual, permanent role supports biologic and specialty therapies with strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include clinical care, specialty therapies, patient education, care coordination, documentation, and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of infusion therapy experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Able to travel between clinic sites and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion or injection therapy.
• Administer IV infusions, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as prescribed.
• Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access and monitor treatment responses.
• Educate patients on indications, administration, side effects, and home monitoring.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinics to ensure seamless care.
