Job summary

Interior Health is hiring a permanent part-time Community Rehabilitation Assistant in Kamloops. You will support therapists, carry out treatment plans, assist with daily living activities, and deliver therapy programs in clients' homes and community sites. A valid BC driver’s license is required, with potential incentives and relocation support.

Position requires driving within Kamloops and shifts Tue-Fri from 08:00 to 16:00; redeployment to other areas may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program.
• One year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Current valid BC Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Work under clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care.
• Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and monitor patient progression with the therapist.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and deliver group and individual therapy in homes and community sites.

Education

Rehabilitation Assistant Program graduate
