Are you driven by student success and skilled in medical and office procedures? If you have strong clinical and instructional expertise, enjoy mentoring students in a flexible environment, and are looking for a full-time in-person opportunity.

The Role

• Deliver engaging instruction in both in-person and online settings for students in the Medical Office Assistant program.
• Assess student progress through assignments, skills labs, and competency-based evaluations.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment that supports student engagement.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to help students build confidence, professionalism, and workplace-ready skills.
• Offer timely, constructive feedback and respond to student questions with clarity and support.
• Ensure students meet course objectives and develop the essential knowledge and skills required for success in the field.
• Adapt instructional approaches based on student progress, learning needs, and course outcomes.
• Encourage active participation in coursework, discussions, and all aspects of the learning process.
• Collaborate with faculty and contribute feedback to support ongoing program improvement.
• Use technology and online learning platforms to enhance instruction, communication, and student engagement.
• Provide students with educational support, study strategies, and guidance to promote academic success.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• A post-secondary diploma or degree in Medical Office Assistance, Health Care Administration, Medical Administration, or a related field.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• A high degree of flexibility and adaptability to meet students' needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous teaching or training experience (online teaching experience is a strong asset).
• Relevant experience in medical office administration, health care administration, clinical settings, or a related professional environment is preferred.
• Experience using Moodle, Teams, or other online learning platforms is an asset.
• Familiarity with HealthQuest or other Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is an asset.
