Job summary

St Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Temporary Educational Assistant 1 (EA1) for a work assignment at École Élémentaire Muriel Martin Elementary School. • Proven experience implementing Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plan strategies
• Experience supporting students in achieving ILP and IPP goals
• Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
• Candidate must have strong skills in managing students’ behavior
• Experience using assistive technology an asset
• Preferred candidates would have experience working with Division 1 students
• Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset
• Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
• Assist students with physical and medical needs (including toileting)

Hours of Work : 17.5 hrs. /week; 3.5 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary

Specific Needs/Requirements For This Position
